Q - Why was ACHI founded?
A - ACHI was founded so that each person, regardless of age, can offer economic assistance to Israel by following simple buying and consuming patterns - ex. Don’t leave the supermarket without buying Israeli, serve Israeli foods at each event you host, birthday party, bar/bat mitzvah, send Israeli snacks to school with your children.
Q - What Kashrut supervision does the current ACHI recommended food list have?
A - Badatz, OU, Chasam Sofer of B'nai Brak.
Q - Is there a membership fee for ACHI?
A - At the present time there is no membership fee.
Q - How do I adopt a sister/brother school in Israel so they too can have snack day? Who should I contact for that and to whom should I send the funds?
A - We suggest you contact the ACHI coordinators to arrange your support for your sister/brother school.
